[KOMPAKT, WATERGATE]

Consisting of jazz guitarist Jeppe Kjellberg, drummer Tomas Barfod and singer/bassist Tomas Høffding, WhoMadeWho is a dance punk band from Copenhagen, Denmark.

Formed in 2003 WhoMadeWho released several singles with the help of German disco label Gomma Records including Out the Door and Space to Rent. The band then released their self-titled debut album WhoMadeWho in 2005 followed by a series of single song releases. The album helped them set out on extensive touring, which included a headlining at the Benicassim Festival in 2007. The music festival includes pop, rock and electronica music in the town of Benicassim, Spain and the result of their headlining spot, the band gained more followers. followed by the release of their sophomore album, “Pilot,” which was released in 2009. WhoMadeWho toured with various other bands, such as Daft Punk, Soulwax, Hot Chip, Justice and LCD Soundsystem.

After touring with Hot Chip, WhoMadeWho remixed one of their songs entitled “TV Friend;” additionally, Josh Homme (from Queens of the Stone Age) has remixed their song, “Space To Rent.” While continuing to tour the band found time to release “Knee Deep” in 2012 followed shortly by the album “Brighter,” which was released in 2012, and it peaked at number 12 in Denmark. In 2014 the album released another album that peaked at number 8 on the Denmark charts entitled “Dreams.”
